5. Liskeard

In the South West of England and in south-east Cornwall is the small town of Liskeard. It is a very old market town which is approximately 12 miles east of Bodmin and 20 miles west of Plymouth. It is not far from River Tamar. This town is lying in the Looe valley and it is part of the ancient hundred of West Wivelshire. The population is just over 12,000. At one time the A38 passed through the centre of Liskeard but now there is a dual carriageway which passes south of the town and therefore reducing the traffic levels in Liskeard because only those people who have reason to be in Liskeard will be driving through this town. If looking to sell property quickly for cash, properties are selling for 95,000 pounds.

4. Camelford

In the north of Cornwall is the town of Camelford. It is located in the River Camel valley not far from Bodmin Moor. Camelford is only about 10 miles north of Bodmin. Just over 1000 people are currently living in Camelford. The economy benefits from two industries of which one is the cheese factory at Davidstow and there is also the slate quarry at Delabole. Highfield also has a small industrial estate. At this stage the A39 is still passing through the town centre even though a bypass has been planned for many years. A property will cost approximately 89,000 pounds for a very quick sale.

3. Wadebridge

In north Cornwall is the town of Wadebridge lying on both sides of the River Camel. There is a population of just over 8000. At one time Wadebridge was merely known as Wade because it was quite a dangerous fording point and it was difficult to cross the river until a bridge was built sometime in the 15th century. Since then the name has always been Wadebridge. Naturally a bridge can be an important strategic property especially in times of war and this is also what had happened during the English civil war. Over the years the bridge has been upgraded several times. A property can cost 66,000 pounds.

2. Newquay

On the north coast of Cornwall is the town of Newquay and this is in southwest England. This is where the popular Watergate Bay and Fistral beaches are located. It is also a place where the currents of the Atlantic Ocean are very strong creating strong surf. The seafront has some other attractions such as the Blue Reef Aquarium which has an underwater tunnel which is passing through the coral-reef tank which is populated by rays, sharks and pufferfish. A short distance from the beach is the tropical gardens and there is also Newquay Zoo with an interesting assortment of wild animals. If being messed around by a buyer, a property can cost as much as 49,000 pounds.

1. Saltash

In the south of Cornwall is the town of Saltash with a population of just over 17,000 people. The River Tamar separates the city of Plymouth and Saltash from each other. Saltash is also frequently referred to as the Gateway to Cornwall. Popular landmarks in Saltash are the Tamar Bridge and there is also the Royal Albert Bridge. A property in this town can cost 45,000 pounds.
