There are many variants of Texas Hold’em and triple action Hold’em is one of them. The game is available on many poker online websites and the game aims to beat the dealer by making a hand of five cards. The hand should be of high rank. The game is played by a deck of 52 cards but half of the cards are removed and only 28 cards are used to play the game. These cards include 8s, 9s, 10s, Js, Qs, Ks, and As. The hand has to be made with the help of two hole cards and three community cards.

Rules Of The Game

Only one deck is used which is reshuffled after the completion of each game. As mentioned earlier, only 28 cards are used and the rest of the cards are not used. The aces are of the highest rank, which is followed by Ks Qs, Js, etc.

Placement Of Ante Bets

The ante bet is a forced bet and each player has to add some amount in the pot. This amount is used to call or raise the bet in the first round. Players also have the option of placing side bets, which are flop bets and bonus bets. Players have to make a strategy that they can place these side bets only if they have hands of high rank.

Dealing The Cards

After the placement of ante bets and side bets, the dealer has to deal with the cards starting from the player sitting to his left. Each player receives two face-down cards. The dealer has to deal two cards to himself out of which one card is face down and the other is face up. Now the dealer takes another three cards from the deck and places them on the table. All the cards are face down. These cards are shown in the game at a later stage.

Taking Actions

Players have to either raise the bet or fold their cards. If a player folds the cards, he has to leave the game and wait for the next game. Such a player also has to surrender his ante bet.

The Revelation Of Hole Cards By The Dealer

After the players have taken the action of fold or raise, the dealer has to reveal his hole cards and the three cards spread on the table.

Showdown

The dealer has to show his cards, which should have 9s or cards of high ranks. If the dealer has such a card then he will qualify. This qualification is important, as it will decide the wager, which has to be paid to the players. If the dealer does not qualify, the Ante bet will be paid but the raised bet will be pushed.

Declaring The Winner

If the dealer qualifies, the hand is compared to the hand of the players to declare the winner.
