Essex is one of the wealthiest counties in eastern England, and it is part of the London commuter belt. There is a sizable middle class in the area, and there are many areas within this county well known for their affordable living. Here is a list of the cheapest places in Essex

  1. Maldon:

Maldon is a city and civil county in Essex, England, on the Blackwater River. It is the administrative center of the Maldon District and the commencement of the Chelmer and Blackwater Navigation. Maldon Sea Salt, which is manufactured in the area, is the most well-known product. The average cost of a house in Maldon ranges from £225,000-£250,000 for those looking to sell property quickly.

  1. Colchester:

Colchester is a city in Essex, England’s southeast region. Colchester is one of the most desired places to live in the UK’s East; the city provides inhabitants with everything they need. Colchester is a great place to live if you want to get away from the big metropolis. It has a rich history and is only a short distance from London. Overall, sold prices in Colchester were 4% higher last year than the year before and reached the peak of £274,823 on average.

  1. Braintree:

Braintree is a town in the English county of Essex. It lies 10 miles northeast of Chelmsford and 15 miles west of Colchester and is the district’s main settlement. There are four market towns in the Braintree district and charming villages, a designer outlet, historic buildings and gardens, and enough to see and do. An average house in Braintree can cost about £250,000-£275,000 if looking to sell property fast.

  1. Tendring:

Tendring is a local government area in Essex, England, in the northeast. The River Stour in the north to the seashore and the River Colne in the south covers a large area. Frinton-on-Sea, Walton-on-the-Naze, Brightlingsea, and Harwich are among the towns in the district. St. Osyth and Great Bentley are two of the district’s larger communities. In August, the average property price in Tendring was £223,354.

1.Jaywick:

Jaywick is located in Essex’s northeast corner, close to Clacton-on-Sea. Initially, it served as a summer vacation destination for Londoners and Essex inhabitants.
